2027 DIARY Accessories: The pieces that make the insert feel like yours
Your 2027 refill handles the calendar. It doesn’t do the part that makes the notebook feel personal — and that’s exactly what this year’s limited accessories are for. Three items: a Plastic Sheet, a Clear Folder, and a Customized Sticker Set, all wrapped around TRAVELER’S COMPANY’s theme, “Every TRAVELER’S notebook is unique and that’s wonderful.” They share artwork and a theme, but each has a distinct job — and they don’t really replace one another.
The Plastic Sheet
This is the plainest of the three, and honestly the one I’d reach for first. It slips under the page you’re writing on, which matters more than it sounds when your notebook is on your knee, a wobbly cafe table, or a stack of receipts. The long edge doubles as a ruler and a tab to flip straight to the right page. The Regular size carries printed quotes and motifs tied to the theme, but the printing is secondary — the sheet’s real purpose is to provide a stable writing surface and a quick page tab. If you write away from a desk often, this is the accessory that will earn its place in your EDC.
The Clear Folder
Comes in two sizes, and the decision is basically which size you need. Regular fits A4 folded into thirds, postcards, and documents; Passport is for business cards and tickets. In practice, Regular is for paper you’re carrying with you — handouts, a printed ticket, a letter. Passport is for the small loose stuff that otherwise bounces around your setup. Don’t buy the Regular expecting it to “organize” your notebook — it’s a folder, not a system.
The Customized Sticker Set
This is the one most likely to be misunderstood. It’s not a Suatelier-style sticker sheet for decorating your journal pages — it’s built to customize the notebook itself: index and pocket stickers, small icons for marking different plans, dry-transfer decals, and cover decoration. The icons pair naturally with the Monthly Refill’s bottom space, which the product description hints at. My read: if you like a cover that evolves over the year and you actually use index tabs, this set does real work. If you want pretty stickers just to decorate pages, this isn’t that — and you’ll probably be a little annoyed.
Don’t buy the wrong one
All three items share the 2027 theme, so it’s tempting to buy the matching set. Don’t — unless you actually need all three. The Plastic Sheet is a tool, the Clear Folder is storage, and the Sticker Set is customization. Buy the one that fixes the problem you actually have: if your pages look messy because loose paper is everywhere, get the folder; if your cover bores you, get the stickers; if writing on uneven surfaces annoys you, get the plastic sheet. Buying all three just because they match is how you end up with accessories you never reach for.
Who should skip them
If you run a minimal setup and like your notebook plain, skip all three — none are necessary. If you’re new to the TRAVELER’S Notebook and still figuring out which insert layout works for you, buy the refill first; accessories won’t rescue a layout that doesn’t fit your needs. And if you use the Passport size, check measurements before ordering: the Clear Folder comes in both Regular and Passport, but it’s not clear whether this year’s Plastic Sheet and Sticker Set have Passport versions. Confirm the sizes before you click “buy,” rather than assuming the theme implies a full, identical lineup.
