Haruharu is a brand by artist Kana Abe from Tokoname, Aichi Prefecture, who crafts ceramic accessories that gently enhance everyday life. A fellow Traveler's Notebook user, we met her at NAOT Aichi during the TRC Caravan and invited her to collaborate on this project.

These ceramic charms are hand-molded and bisque-fired, then painted with traditional gosu pigment, glazed, and fired. A gold layer is applied and fired once more, completing the piece through three firings total. Each charm varies subtly in color and pattern due to Kana Abe's handmade process. The deep blue from the gosu adds a unique warmth. Simply thread it onto your Traveler's Notebook rubber band.
